Trio Motors IU provides professional services for the repair of starters and alternators. We service all types of starters and alternators for:

• Passenger Cars
• Trucks
• Specialised Machinery
• Agricultural Equipment

Our Workshop Operating Hours:

• Working Days (Mon–Fri): 8:00 to 17:00
• Lunch Break: 12:00 to 13:00
• Weekends and Public Holidays: Closed (following Latvian state holidays).

Repairs are completed on a first-come, first-served basis (in queue order):

• Standard Repair Time: The usual repair time is 1–2 working days.
• Extended Repair Time: During periods of high workload, repairs may take 2–4 working days.
• Expedited Service (Non-Local Clients): Non-local clients may call ahead to arrange a specific time to drop off an aggregate and potentially pick it up the same day (provided the workload and queue allow).

Trio Motors does not perform the removal and installation (R&R) of aggregates from vehicles. However, we recommend the following partner garages for this service:

When utilizing these recommended service partners, the entire process is streamlined:

• The recommended garage will remove the unit from your vehicle.
• The garage will transport the unit to Trio Motors for repair.
• The garage will collect the repaired unit from Trio Motors and re-install it in your vehicle.
• Crucially, all payments, including the cost of the starter/alternator repair by Trio Motors, are handled directly by the recommended garage. The client settles the total service cost with the chosen garage.

All prices are quoted in EUR and with VAT (PVN):

• Diagnostic Fee: The exact repair cost is determined only after a full diagnostic and inspection. The initial diagnostic fee, which includes disassembly and defect analysis, is EUR 8.47.
• Full Repair Labour: The full repair labour cost (not including parts) is from EUR 30.25.
• Refusal of Repair: If the Client refuses further repair after the diagnostic, the Client is obligated to pay the diagnostic, disassembly, and inspection fee of EUR 8.47.
• Bench Test Only (Functionality Check): EUR 3.63.

We accept russian-made aggregates for repair. Due to a small stock of spare parts for these units, the Client must provide any necessary parts that Trio Motors does not have in stock.

Trio Motors provides a warranty on the labour performed and on the new parts installed for a period of 6 (six) months from the date the aggregate is issued to the Client.

Warranty Limitations (Voided Warranty).

The warranty is strictly conditional upon the correct operational use of the aggregate. The warranty is voided if:

• The failure is caused by improper installation or external factors.
• Foreign substances (e.g., oil or fluids) penetrate the starter or alternator, causing its failure.
• The aggregate has been tampered with or disassembled by non-authorised services.

Collection Deadline: Once the Client has been notified that the repair is complete, the aggregate must be collected within 3 (three) months.
